The BamBoeBus provides creative and educational workshops in the Netherlands and abroad. It is an initiative of artist Antoon Versteegde which began in 1983 with his famous bamboo artworks. Since then he has a growing global group of supporters and followers to reach.

1. Bamboostic
   

His approach calls Versteegde "Bamboostic", where artworks are made of bamboo sticks, tied together with elastic. Originally a rubber band is strong enough to a bamboo stick in place to bind. But as the structure grows, you will be more elastic at each node to settle to get a solid whole. That way you gradually discover how you can make strong connections and structures. First construct such triangles, squares or stars that are then tied together to form three-dimensional as the regular tetrahedron (tetrahedron), the pyramid, the cube or a complex wire structure.

A bamboo workshop breaks the daily routine: working with simple, but unconventional materials and techniques and your works in a different manner. Often with amazing results. Participants can independently experiment with different techniques, depending on age and experience. The BamBoeBus has standard sufficient materials for groups of 10 to 50 participants, but to request larger quantities are used.

The basic costs are € 998 per half day, - or € 1495, - for a day, plus travel and VAT but including the use of construction materials and tools with professional guidance from two artists. Prices for several days, the largest groups of guidance on request.
